Headframes, often called top mounts, are a type of tower extension or attachment that bolts on to the top of the tower to provide a mounting platform for large systems. These can be particularly useful for guyed towers, where guy wires may prevent attachment or interrupt the operation of the equipment.

Within our range of towers we generally provide the following headframes, all with matching bolt patterns:

-- Single Mount --
Called a Spigot. It's effectively a section of pipe attached to a plate strengthened with gussets, with a bolt pattern to match the tower series

-- Twin Mount --
Also known as a dual or butterfly mount. These are ideal for mounting sector or separating omnidirectional antennas in telecommunications applications.

-- Three-Sector Headframe --
Sometimes called a triangular head. Very common in telecommunications, which use three sectors each covering a 120 degree area.

-- Four-Sector Headframe --
Sometimes called a square head. Popular amongst TDD wireless applications such as multipoint networks which operate ABAB frequency reuse.
