Stainless steel roof masts are simple upright structures comprising of a centre pole and two stay bars. 50 mm diameter masts are popular for a range of CCTV, antenna, wireless point-to-point, and meteorology equipment where often a mounting diameter exceeding 32 mm is specified for the equipment to meet wind-survivability specifications. For 6 to 80 GHz microwave transmission we recommend the 76 mm aluminium roof mast.
The SS50 series' collared design encorporates two sliding collars allowing stay bars to be attached to the centre mast without compromising structual integrity by drilling new holes to vary the stay bar pitch angle. This design is safe, fast, and heavy duty, and is available in a range of different heights. The footplate has a hinged design allowing pitch compensation for standard corrugated iron and tin roofs.
Each stay bar has a hinged mounting design to match the roof pitch without bending the stay bar.
