APAC's range of guyed towers include aluminium and galvanised steel designs. We also manufacture a series of guyed monopoles locally here in Queensland, known as the AT60 and AT90 series.
While both have their advantages, selection depends on what you have available. Free-standing towers require a smaller footprint and are an excellent choice when there's limited land available. Guyed towers on the other hand use the least amount of tower steel per metre of height, but require the largest use of land. When land is cheap (and relatively open) a guyed tower is typically the most cost effective choice. On the other hand, you have four foundations to set in addition to all of the guying materials.
