Centurion Mobile Lattice Tower - Trailer Mounted

APAC have partnered with our Canadian friends at Northern Towers Inc, who have been designing and manufacturing of mobile lattice towers for 35 years. To meet the need for field-deployable lattice towers in the Asia Pacific region, APAC ship these systems to Queensland where our local facility retrofits the towing and electrical systems to meet Australian Standards compliance.

The Centurion Mobile Lattice Tower is Northern Towers' flagship model, with a series of improvements over legacy models:

• New outrigger design UHMW slides
• New outrigger pinning design
• Hard stop spring loaded pinning for accessory mounting
• Adjustable axles, fenders move with axles to add or remove trailer tongue weight
• New trailer design 2x 4" frame with 3" angle runners for mounting
• 5,450 kg spring loaded front jack
• Slotted jack plate hand holes
• New outrigger locking for transportation with UHMW slides
• Main winch and tilt winch motor enclosure

The lattice tower is constructed from highly resilient aluminium framework and have a special guidance system resulting in minimal movement at the telescopic intersections. This design has undergone extensive field testing to ensure the optimum performance is achieved.

All Northern Towers Industries towers are designed using industry-standard tower analysis and design software to allow for full wind-loading and structural design. All cabling used to raise, lower, and guy these towers is aircraft-grade. The strength required for each application is determined using TIA/EIA-222G specification. Sheaves are constructed of solid steel for extra strength. All bolts are made of Grade-5 and/or Grade-8 steel. AWS D1.1 Welding Procedures are used in fabrication of the tower.

There are many commercial off-the-self configurations available, and systems can be custom designed and fabricated for a specific application to ensure the particular performance requirements are fulfilled.
