APAC's GC76 range of 76 mm galvanised steel roof poles are a serious, low deflection mounting platform that resists even the most intense of weather conditions. Constructed from 76.1 mm C350 grade galvanised steel pipe, this mast is built for mounting equipment with large sail areas such as weather stations, solar arrays, transmission stations, lighting arrays, wind turbines, and as a supporting frame for microwave and base station hardware.
High frequency microwave transmission requires extremely strict tolerances with respect to deflection and rotation, accordingly standard 30 and 50 mm typically are not suitable particularly for >6 GHz links. 76 mm roof masts are quickly becoming an industry standard minimum, used by just about all major microwave integrators across the globe.
The collared design incorporates a sliding clamp collar design allowing stay bars to be attached to the centre mast without invalidating the engineering certification by drilling new holes to vary the stay bar pitch angle. This design is safe, fast, and heavy duty, and is available in a range of different heights. The footplate has a hinged design allowing pitch compensation for standard corrugated iron and tin roofs.
Designed and built by APAC in the Sunshine Coast, Australia, you can expect uncompromising standards and a robust, real-world tested mast that will provide the peace of mind that it will perform it's intended role for many years to come. If you have specific requirements our team are able to re-design the mast to suit.
