What is a Pneumatic Mast? Pneumatic masts are a type of elevation solution using compressed air to raise the central column to its extended height. The masts can either be locking, which each section locks into place once it reaches its maximum extension - designed for safety and long term use, or non-locking where each section sits on a cushion of air - more appropriate for vehicle mounted applications.
