AL220 Guy Wire Kit

A guy wire kit is essential for stabilising and supporting towers, ensuring safety and structural integrity under all weather conditions. The length indicates the corresponding tower height. These kits includes the following quantities per AL220 tower section:

• 3 x 6mm Wire Rope Lengths: These wire ropes provide the necessary tensile strength to brace the tower effectively. Galvanised as standard, stainless steel option offers enhanced corrosion resistance and longevity in coastal environments.
• 6 x Thimbles: Used to protect the wire rope from wear and tear at connection points. They help maintain the rope's shape and prevent damage caused by friction.
• 3 x M12 Turnbuckles: Adjustable devices that allow for tension adjustment in the guy wires, ensuring optimal tension settings and stability of the tower.
• 18 x Wire Rope Grips: Also known as cable clamps, these grips securely fasten the wire rope sections. They ensure a firm hold of the wire, preventing slippage.
• 3 x M12 D-Shackles: These connectors are used to attach the guy wires to anchor points on the tower and mounting surface/structure.
• M12 35mm Bolts & Nylock Nuts
