APAC's AL220 modular free-standing aluminium lattice towers are designed and manufactured locally in Queensland, Australia. They are constructed in 3.1-meter sections, which allows for easy transportation and quick assembly. The towers are made from 6106 T6 structural grade aluminum tube, ensuring durability and strength.
These freestanding towers are particularly suitable for light-duty telecommunications and environmental monitoring applications where the natural terrain provides the required height. They are also well-suited for mounting to the side of buildings.
The tower system consists of a modified 3.1m AL220 lattice mast module connected to a 12mm hinged aluminum base plate. The base plate can be mounted to an S400 or S600 Surefoot foundation, providing stability and support. The hinged base plate enables manual lowering and raising of the tower section, eliminating the need for specialized equipment such as an Elevated Work Platform (EWP) or working at heights on a ladder.
