AL220 Torque Arm - Anti-Twist Kit for Guyed Towers

Anti-twist torque arm assemblies are used to provide up to six-way guying to increase torsional resistance on towers that have azimuth/bearing-sensitive equipment mounted - microwave/mmWave antennas, surveillance cameras, environmental sensors, etc.

Attaches to standard APAC AL220 aluminium lattice towers at any section by three heavy duty U-bolt clamps (not pictured). This system has been designed specifically to match APAC AL220 ground and roof mounted aluminium lattice towers (220 mm faced, 40 x 3 mm round tube).

These kits includes the following:

• 6 x 6mm Wire Rope Lengths: These wire ropes provide the necessary tensile strength to brace the tower effectively. Galvanised as standard, stainless steel option offers enhanced corrosion resistance and longevity in coastal environments.
• 12 x Thimbles: Used to protect the wire rope from wear and tear at connection points. They help maintain the rope's shape and prevent damage caused by friction.
• 6 x M12 Turnbuckles: Adjustable devices that allow for tension adjustment in the guy wires, ensuring optimal tension settings and stability of the tower.
• 36 x Wire Rope Grips: Also known as cable clamps, these grips securely fasten the wire rope sections. They ensure a firm hold of the wire, preventing slippage.
• 6 x M12 D-Shackles: These connectors are used to attach the guy wires to anchor points on the tower and mounting surface/structure.
