AL340 Free-Standing Hinge-Down Aluminium Tower - up to 9.3m

Continuing the popular AL340 Modular Tower System (MTS) series, APAC have developed a free-standing tower with hinging base for easy field-installation. At up to 9.3 metres (three tower modules), the AL340-FSHD kit is perfect for environmental monitoring, security, telemetry, telecommunications, and anything else where modest height is required and headloads up to 50 kg.

The tower system consists of 3.1 m AL340 lattice mast modules connected to a 12 mm hinged stainless steel base plate (AP-AL340-HBP-S600). The base plate can be mounted to a S600 Surefoot foundation for rapid installation. The hinged base plate enables manual lowering and raising of the tower section, eliminating the need for specialised equipment such as an Elevated Work Platform (EWP) or working at heights on a ladder.

At 22.8 kg per section, the tower components can be carried to difficult to reach sites, and an all 6101-T6 structural aluminium + stainless construction means the tower system is perfect for coastal and isolated environments.

Part of the AL340 component ecosystem means the tower can be used to building/container/donga side-mount, or later be repurposed onto skid or jackframe base platforms.
